YEJ-101 Rectangular Low-Pressure Capsule Gauges

Description

Rectangular indication for draft and ventilation pressure

The YEJ-101 is a mechanical capsule gauge for low positive pressure, negative pressure and compound pressure/vacuum measurements. Its rectangular case and linear scale suit boiler draft equipment, ventilation ducts, HVAC systems and low-pressure industrial gas monitoring.

A tin-phosphor-bronze capsule responds to pressure changes and transfers its displacement through the internal movement to the pointer. The instrument measures neutral gases that are noncorrosive to copper alloys and do not present an explosion hazard.

Capsule and mechanical movement

The capsule and mechanical transmission convert low gas pressure into pointer movement.

Scale options and reading

YEJ-101 center-zero Pa scale with a times-ten multiplier
A center-zero example shows 20 divisions to each side with a ×10 multiplier, corresponding to a ±200Pa span.

An illustrated positive-pressure version uses a 0–16 scale with a ×100 multiplier, corresponding to 0–1600Pa. Other positive, negative and compound spans are available by configuration. Read both the scale value and its multiplier when interpreting pressure.

Application selection

Choose the calibrated span for the expected draft or gas pressure, and match the hose to the Ø8 connection. Keep the instrument within its temperature and vibration limits. The rectangular display provides local mechanical indication for systems that need a visible low-pressure reading.
