The Y-BF family provides local mechanical pressure readings for compatible gases and liquids in pumps, pneumatic systems, hydraulic machinery and process equipment. A Bourdon tube drives the pointer, while a stainless steel case and sealed enclosure protect the movement. The 40mm, 60mm and 100mm models provide different choices for installation space and reading distance.

| Medium temperature | Within the specified operating conditions | Within the specified operating conditions | -40°C to 70°C |
The Y-40BF weighs approximately 65.8g and is specified for relative humidity ≤85%. Its temperature influence is ≤0.4% per 10°C departure from a 20°C ±5°C reference condition. Select media that are compatible with every wetted component and remain noncrystallizing and within the gauge's temperature and pressure limits.
Vacuum and positive-pressure versions are available. Family selections extend from -0.1MPa vacuum service to positive-pressure full-scale values up to 60MPa, depending on model and ordered configuration. Each instrument has its own fixed calibrated span. Match the dial range to the working pressure, allowing for pulsation and transient conditions.
Thread specifications, dial markings, pressure spans and material options can be customized. The Y-100BF offers 316 stainless steel customization where required by material compatibility. Confirm the complete wetted-material specification for the selected build.
| Model | Dimension reference |
|---|---|
| Y-40BF | 46.8mm maximum front width; 68.2mm overall height; 26.7mm maximum depth. Additional drawing callouts: 20.8mm case-body depth, 41.1mm body height and 24.2mm connection projection. |
| Y-100BF | 108mm maximum front width; 94mm inner front reference; 46mm depth; 143mm overall height. |
The nominal dial diameter and the outside case dimensions are different measurements. Download the model-specific dimension references when checking installation clearance.
Check the unpressurized zero position before installation. Engage the correct thread squarely, use a suitable seal and apply tightening force at the connection. Read the dial straight on at pointer level. Keep the gauge within the selected pressure span and temperature rating.
Inspect the window, case, pointer and connection periodically. Persistent zero error or severe pointer oscillation requires investigation before further use. The general Y/EYT manual provides mechanical-gauge installation, reading and maintenance guidance; use the BF-specific materials and ratings in the model table for this stainless steel family.
