These spring-loaded probes press the stainless steel sensing tip against the measuring surface. The bayonet arrangement and adjustable spring tension help maintain contact where machinery vibration or movement could otherwise disturb the sensor.
Applications include injection molding and extrusion equipment, heated molds, temperature-control machinery, pipe-surface monitoring and industrial test equipment. Select the sensing element to match the receiving instrument and the required temperature range.

Choose the calibrated temperature range for the selected thermocouple or RTD configuration. The stainless steel probe and protective cable arrangement support installation on machinery, molds and heating equipment.
Use a receiving input configured for the specified thermocouple type or resistance sensor. If the control system requires a standard analog or digital signal, connect the probe through a compatible external temperature transmitter.
Adjust the mounting so that the sensing tip remains in contact with the target surface. Inspect the probe, spring, connection threads and cable periodically for contamination, looseness or mechanical damage. Keep the contact surface clean to maintain heat transfer.
