These refinery thermocouples combine a wear-resistant measuring end with a manual shutoff valve. If wear causes leakage through the protective tube, the valve can be manually closed to interrupt the leakage path. Single or dual sheathed sensing elements and fixed-flange or fixed-thread mounting are available.

The valve dimensions are listed as (80+50)x180mm. Single-element electrical entries are M20x1.5 for 10mm cable; dual-element entries are M24x1.5 for 16mm cable.

Use the model measuring range as the assembly limit, together with the selected accuracy class's applicable range. For example, the 1200°C K-alloy model extends beyond the listed Class I range.
