Spring-loaded inserts and separate protective tubes
The 240 and 442 configurations use a sheathed measuring insert held against the protective-tube tip by a spring. The insert and protective tube can be separated for service. Aluminum-alloy flameproof heads are offered with listed ExdIIBT1-T5 or ExdIICT1-T6 markings; select the required head and temperature class for the installation.
