These stainless steel float switches combine magnetic reed sensing with a Japanese-style sealed connection head. The enclosed termination space and sealed cable entry help protect connections from moisture, dust and oil mist. A 1in threaded mounting secures the assembly to the tank.
Choose a single float for one sensing point or a double float for high and low level signals. The float and stem are available in 304 or 316 stainless steel. Welded joints, high-temperature leads and the accessible connection head suit water-treatment systems, cooling circuits and industrial reservoirs.

Observe contact power, switching voltage and current together. Select the actual enclosure configuration for any higher protection requirement. Use the float as a receiving-relay or PLC input signal and select a suitable relay, contactor or motor starter for the load.

Dimensions are in mm and apply to every single-float sealed-head model below. H1 identifies the stem assembly length below the mounting fitting.

Select the thread standard and pitch to match the tank. Custom stem lengths, float counts, switching elevations, cable lengths and wire specifications are available. The size identifiers in this table apply to the sealed-head construction.
In the standard below-closed arrangement, the contact opens as the float rises away from the reed’s operating position and closes as it falls back. Reverse the float to change the closed-state orientation and check continuity before connection.
For filling, the lower level starts operation and the upper level stops it. For drainage, the upper level starts operation and the lower level stops it. A receiving relay circuit can maintain operation between these two points.
| 14-pin relay connection | Function in the 220VAC example |
|---|---|
| 10–13 jumper | Live supply and coil terminal 13 |
| 11 | Neutral and float common return |
| 12–14 jumper | Auxiliary-contact common and coil terminal 14 |
| 14 | Start-signal lead |
| 8 | Permit / stop-signal lead |
| 6 and 7 | Switched load connections |
Use the 220VAC example only with a 220VAC-rated float option and the matching relay coil and terminal arrangement. Select the receiving relay or contactor for the actual load. The English circuit attachment gives the contact states for both filling and drainage; verify the supplied head’s signal connections separately.
Check medium compatibility, temperature, viscosity, pressure and installation clearances before ordering. Keep heavy sludge and large particles away from the float travel. Seal the cable entry correctly, secure the head cover and inspect the terminals and welded assembly periodically. Disconnect power before servicing and test the complete operating sequence after installation.
