Steam and water temperature sensing
These assemblies use drilled protective tubes welded and sealed to the equipment, with separate spring-loaded sheathed sensing inserts. The 14 construction serves medium-temperature installations; the 13 construction serves higher-temperature and higher-flow installations. The 01 and 62K constructions use a cylindrical thermal sleeve and a protective tube with three flat faces, allowing hot medium to enter the clearance around the tube.
High-temperature platinum inserts with 650°C capability are available. The operating limits of the assembled configurations are listed separately below.
