Plastic Automatic Water Level Control Valves

Description

Automatic tank replenishment

These plastic water level valves use water pressure and a float mechanism to control tank filling. When the level drops, the valve opens to admit water. As the float rises to the set level, the inlet closes. The valve operates without electrical wiring, sensors or a separate controller.

Top inlet and side inlet arrangements accommodate different supply-pipe layouts. Internal versions fit inside the tank. External versions mount outside and use a connecting hose to follow the tank's water level. Applications include household and rooftop tanks, reservoirs, solar water-heater supply systems and industrial water storage.

Filtration and service access

The inlet filter and internal filtration structure help keep debris away from the valve mechanism. Serviceable housing designs provide access for cleaning. Snap-fit housings allow the outer shell to be released, while other internal assemblies use stainless steel retaining screws.

Installation and selection

Check inlet direction, connection size, mounting position, water quality and operating pressure before installation. Adequate water pressure is required for reliable closing and filling performance. Install an external model with its level connection arranged to track the tank level, and provide access for inspection and cleaning.

Keep the float free to move, flush the supply pipe before connection and test filling and shutoff after installation. These valves are intended for clean water; avoid steam, corrosive liquids, heavy sludge and large particulate contamination. Use the ordered temperature limit for hot-water service.

Connection dimensions, installation structure, material, inlet orientation and packaging can be customized. The attached dimensional guide shows the available plastic configurations and a separately identified stainless steel reference section.
