The LUGB family, also listed as ZEF-LUGB, measures gas, steam and liquid flow for industrial process monitoring and energy metering. Applications include compressed air, nitrogen, oxygen, natural gas, steam distribution, cooling water and other compatible liquids. The sensor derives flow from vortex shedding and has no moving measuring parts.
A digital display shows instantaneous and accumulated flow. The shielded sensor-rod design reduces vibration interference, while SS304 construction and IP65 protection support industrial installation. Choose 24VDC power for a wired installation or a 3.6V lithium battery where external power is limited. Available configurations include inline and insertion arrangements, with current or pulse signal outputs.

All dimensions are in mm. L1 is the sensor-body length shown in the drawing; L2 is the outside flange-to-flange length. D1 is flange outside diameter, D2 is the bolt-circle diameter, H is overall height, D3 is mounting-hole diameter and N is the number of bolts. The reference drawing shows a Ø104 head with a 125mm head height.

Allow sufficient straight pipe for the actual upstream disturbance. The general installation guidance gives a minimum of 10D upstream and 5D downstream; the configuration-specific cases below require longer upstream lengths. D is the internal diameter of the flowmeter.
| Upstream condition | Straight run before meter | Straight run after meter |
|---|---|---|
| General baseline | ≥10D | ≥5D |
| One 90° elbow | ≥15D | |
| Two 90° elbows | ≥40D | |
| Pipe expander | ≥25D | |
| Pipe reducer | ≥15D | |
| Upstream valve | ≥50D |
Keep the measuring section full and avoid strong vibration or pulsating flow. Flow must be sufficient to generate stable vortices; an undersized flow condition can produce unstable indication. Select the pipe size, power option, output signal and installation arrangement for the process. The attached dimension and straight-pipe drawings provide the corresponding reference geometry.
