The SGW family combines a thermocouple or resistance temperature probe with a transmitter installed in the connection head. It converts the sensing signal into a temperature-linear two-wire 4-20mADC output. The thermocouple transmitter includes cold-junction compensation. Small or large stainless steel heads and aluminum heads are available, along with local pointer or digital display options.

Connection structures can be selected for thermal mounting sleeves, while reinforced sleeve versions can mount directly to the equipment. Two-wire current transmission uses ordinary copper wiring. Match the output to the current input of a display, recorder, controller, PLC or computer control system. An LB830S barrier pairing is also listed as an available system option.
