EYP-60 Plastic Diaphragm Gauges and Isolators

Description

Pressure indication with process-fluid isolation

The EYP-60 family combines a plastic diaphragm pressure gauge with a matching isolation assembly. An FKM fluororubber membrane separates the process fluid from the measuring mechanism, and a polypropylene housing provides a chemically resistant enclosure. Typical applications include PCB etching, electroplating, chemical processing and acid/alkali transfer equipment where the selected PP and FKM materials are compatible with the fluid.

The complete gauge uses glycerin filling to damp pointer movement in vibrating equipment. Its dual-scale face provides local pressure indication, while the diaphragm arrangement reduces direct contamination and blockage of the internal measuring components.

Isolation assembly

The lower diaphragm assembly separates the process fluid from the gauge mechanism.

The integrated threaded connection provides a compact mounting interface. Select the matching diaphragm assembly and gauge together, including the connection, pressure span and filling arrangement.

Application selection

Check PP and FKM compatibility against the actual chemical, concentration and temperature. Match the complete instrument's operating limits to the application, including the chosen gauge and diaphragm assembly. Specify whether the order requires the complete gauge or the matching isolation component.

Use the units printed on the supplied dial. Glycerin damping stabilizes the indication during mechanical vibration; the pointer should be allowed to settle before a reading is taken.
