EWDZ-2101 Integrated Temperature Transmitters

Description

Integrated sensing and signal conversion

The EWDZ-2101 combines a temperature sensing element and transmitter module in a compact assembly. RTD and thermocouple configurations provide temperature feedback for industrial processes, water systems, HVAC equipment, chemical processing and automated machinery. Select 4–20mA or RS485 communication to match the receiving system.

The family includes standard, local-display and armored-probe constructions. Display versions use an FSTN segment LCD for local readings. Probe length and diameter can be specified for the required measuring location.

Probe and output selection

Choose the sensor type, calibrated span, insertion length and mechanical construction together. The measuring-element temperature range is separate from the transmitter electronics' operating-temperature range. High-temperature installations require a suitable probe and an arrangement that keeps the electronics within its rating.

The EWDZ-2101T provides a 316L probe and a 0–50°C measurement configuration for compatible industrial liquids and gases, with pressure capability up to 16MPa. Select the exact process and mounting conditions for that assembly.

Integration and installation

Connect the selected output to a compatible analog input or RS485 interface, using the wiring and communication settings supplied with the instrument. Apply a 12–35VDC supply and match the receiving system to the calibrated temperature span.

Check probe-material compatibility, insertion depth and process sealing before installation. Provide mechanical support and cable routing suitable for the equipment, and position any local display where it can be read during operation.
