ESC bent-stem switches mount through a tank wall while the float moves vertically on the internal stem. This arrangement suits tanks with limited access above the liquid. Single-float versions provide one level signal; double-float versions provide upper and lower signals for alarms, filling or drainage control.
The standard float and stem are 304 stainless steel, with 316 stainless steel available for specified applications. Laser-welded metal joints, epoxy sealing and a silicone mounting gasket protect the sensing assembly. Select the stem geometry and material for the liquid and installation.

| Parameter | 1A1 | 2A1 |
|---|---|---|
| Maximum contact capacity | 10VA | 50VA |
| Maximum switching voltage | 100VAC/DC | 220VAC/DC |
| Maximum switching current | 0.5A | 1.5A |
| Breakdown-voltage reference | 110VAC/DC | 300VAC/DC |
| Maximum carrying current, contacts already closed | 1A | 3A |
| Maximum contact resistance | 100mΩ | |
| Operating temperature | −30–120°C | |
Respect voltage, current and contact-power limits simultaneously. Carrying current does not increase the permitted switching current. Use a receiving relay for alarm or valve control and a suitably rated contactor or motor starter for pump power.

Dimensions are in mm and use the symbols in the single-float drawing. The following common values apply to all 13 models.

ESC11510-2 is an additional double-float configuration with M10×1.5 mounting. Specify its complete dimensions and required sensing elevations when ordering. Stem length, float spacing, thread size, cable length and special mounting geometry can be customized.
The ESC7810 and ESC11510-2 configurations described in manual VC-ESC-200407 use the following contact options. Select the actual ordered rating set before connecting the circuit.
| Parameter | 1A1, 0.2A configuration | 2A1, 0.2A configuration |
|---|---|---|
| Maximum contact power | 10VA | 30VA |
| Switching voltage | 110VDC | 220VDC |
| Switching current | 0.2A, resistive load | |
| Breakdown voltage | 200VDC | 300VDC |
| Temperature range | −30–125°C | |

The standard below-closed arrangement closes at the lower float position and opens as the float rises away. Reversing the float changes the closed-state orientation. Test each contact before commissioning. A single float typically has approximately 10mm of operating travel. Two sensing levels can provide a 30–50mm or larger control differential, depending on stem geometry, float spacing and the receiving circuit.
Install the bent stem so each float can rise and fall freely. The internal reeds have fixed positions; moving retaining clips does not relocate the sensing points. Select custom sensing elevations where needed. Clean water and compatible low-viscosity liquids are preferred. Keep floating debris, heavy sediment and sludge away from the moving floats, and specify temperature, pressure, mounting direction and electrical requirements for the complete assembly.
