EM2000 and EMS2000 gauges use a diaphragm and magnetic helix movement to indicate positive, negative or differential pressure. The clear pointer dial gives a continuous local reading without batteries, external power or liquid fill. Typical uses include HVAC ducts, air filters, fans, blowers, cleanrooms, laboratories, pharmaceutical facilities, microelectronics production and agricultural ventilation.
| Model | Housing | Display |
|---|---|---|
| EM2000 | Full die-cast aluminum-alloy housing with baked finish | Mechanical pointer dial with transparent protective cover |
| EMS2000 | Die-cast aluminum front and ABS + PC rear housing | Mechanical pointer dial with transparent polycarbonate cover |

The dial span and case-pressure rating serve different purposes. Use the ordered measuring scale and the maximum-pressure marking on the instrument. Keep the pressure-relief path clear.

For positive pressure, connect the source to either high-pressure port, plug the unused high-pressure port and vent the low side. For negative pressure, connect the vacuum source to a low-pressure port, plug the unused low-pressure port and vent the high side. For differential pressure, connect the higher and lower pressures to their respective ports and plug the unused connections.
Vent both sides before adjusting zero with the external screw at the bottom of the cover. Temporary installations can use Ø4mm inside-diameter rubber or polyethylene tubing; permanent installations use tubing of at least 1/4in, with copper or aluminum recommended. A long tube slows response, and blocked tubing prevents correct pressure transmission.
Mount vertically away from severe vibration and direct sunlight. Keep the approximately 0.58mm rear relief clearance unobstructed. The standard configuration is intended for compatible gas service; direct liquid service and hydrogen applications require a separately suitable construction.
