The EM15-2 counterweight slides along a cable float switch lead to set its balance point and free movement. Adjusting and securing the weight changes the float’s operating level and helps maintain repeatable movement in water tanks, reservoirs, drainage systems and compatible wastewater installations.
The cylindrical stainless steel body has a smooth cable passage and a fixing screw. It is a mechanical installation accessory for a compatible cable float switch.
| Parameter | Specification |
|---|---|
| Material | 304 stainless steel; 316 stainless steel option |
| Hardness | ≥36HB |
| Fixing-screw designation | M6×14 |
| Body form | Cylindrical, with hex-socket fixing arrangement |
| Cable-entry edge | R1.0 rounded opening |
| Cable passage | Smooth through-hole with burrs removed |
| Function | Position and stabilize a cable float switch lead |

Match the cable opening and counterweight to the intended float assembly. Pass the cable through the opening, slide the weight to the required position and secure it without damaging the insulation. Check that the float moves freely and changes state at the required upper and lower levels.
Select 304 or 316 stainless steel according to the liquid and service environment. The rounded entry reduces cable abrasion during positioning. Inspect the fixing and cable condition during routine service, and confirm that the weight remains secure before returning the level-control system to operation.
