ELE-801J Absolute Pressure Transmitters

Description

Absolute pressure measurement for gas and vacuum systems

The ELE-801J and ELE-801SJ use diffused silicon sensing elements for absolute pressure measurement in gas handling, vacuum equipment, HVAC, pneumatic systems and industrial process control. The ELE-801SJ adds an LCD for local indication, while the ELE-801J provides the same measurement function without a display.

A 304 stainless steel housing and process connection provide the mechanical enclosure. A Hirschmann connector supports field wiring, and laser-engraved identification remains legible on the body. Each transmitter undergoes precision factory calibration and complete aging testing before shipment.

LCD option for a 4–20mA configuration

The two-wire LCD module operates from the 4–20mA loop and provides zero adjustment, offset, filtering, span correction, selectable units and overrange flashing. These display-module specifications describe the indicator and do not establish the pressure-measurement accuracy of the complete transmitter.

Commissioning and use

Select an absolute-pressure span and output compatible with the control system. Keep the process connection within its pressure and media limits. Use the configured damping protection where required, and verify the actual connector markings before wiring.

The English LCD commissioning manual includes the complete key functions, access levels, menu sequence, units, scaling, filtering and calibration procedures. For the current-loop display module, pin 1 passes through the display circuit, while pin 2 and the protective-earth contact pass directly through. Save changes using the End menu; inactivity returns the instrument to measurement without guaranteeing that edited values have been saved.
