EFS-05S uses a magnetic piston and reed switch to detect flow or flow stoppage in a pipeline. Fluid pressure moves the piston until its magnetic ring reaches the reed-switch sensing position, generating a switching signal for the control system.
The stainless steel body suits clean water and other compatible clean liquids in pump protection, hot-water circulation, HVAC cooling, water treatment and industrial equipment. Selected piston-switch configurations allow the reed-switch operating position to be adjusted to change the flow signal point.

The resistive load-current and maximum switching-current ratings are distinct. Select the connected circuit within the switching voltage, current and capacity limits.

For horizontal installation with the sensor above the pipe, keep the pipe completely full so the sensing section remains in contact with liquid. For inverted installation below the pipe, prevent sediment from accumulating around the sensing section. In vertical pipework, install where the liquid flows from bottom to top.
