EFQS-4 Cable Float Level Switches

Description

Automatic filling and drainage control

The EFQS-4 uses a double-shell ABS float and a ball-actuated microswitch to provide a contact signal as the liquid level changes. It supports filling, drainage and pump-interlock circuits in water tanks, wells, reservoirs and compatible industrial-liquid systems.

Adjust the free cable length and counterweight position to set the high-to-low operating difference. Multiple switches can provide separate level signals for a control system, including low-level pump protection.

EFQS-4 cable conductor cross-section comparison
The 0.85mm² conductor specification supports selection of the cable assembly.

The 10A thermal-current value is separate from the 4A resistive switching rating. Select a relay or contactor when the load requires it, and match the complete control circuit to the actual switch marking.

Isolate power before wiring and verify the supplied conductor identification. Insulate the unused conductor and protect all joints against moisture and condensation. A control voltage of 36V or less is recommended where the control system permits.

Mounting and service

Pass the cable through the counterweight and set the free length to approximately 0.7 times the desired high-to-low liquid-level difference. Secure the cable and keep the float clear of walls, piping and obstructions. Check both switching states before putting the system into service.

Use liquids compatible with ABS, PVC and the sealed assembly. Strong acids, strong alkalis and organic solvents can damage the product. Inspect the cable and housing regularly; stop using a switch with damaged insulation or a damaged seal.

Confirm the enclosure rating and installation conditions for the supplied version. Keep cable terminations dry, avoid pulling on the sealed housing seam, and specify the required cable length and control duty when ordering.
