EDF-96E/F/G/H controllers operate pumps according to upper and lower water-level signals. Functions include automatic filling, automatic drainage, manual start and stop, and intermediate refill or drainage. Terminal connections and DIN rail or screw mounting support installation in a control panel.
Choose the sensing method and output circuit together. EDF-96E/F accept electrode probes in the liquid. EDF-96G/H use external sensors that detect the level without direct immersion. Powered-output models supply the controlled load through their output circuit, while passive-output models provide independent relay contacts for a separate control circuit.
| Model | Detection | Output |
|---|---|---|
| EDF-96E | Electrode probes with terminal wiring | Powered relay output |
| EDF-96F | Independent relay contacts | |
| EDF-96G | External non-immersive sensors | Powered relay output |
| EDF-96H | Independent relay contacts |
| Parameter | Specification |

| Resistive load current | 20A |
| Inductive load current | 10A |
| Load power | <3000W |
| Power consumption | ≤1.5W |

Supply voltages identify separately selected versions. Keep load current and power within their ratings together. Use a suitably rated contactor for higher starting currents, frequent motor switching or loads beyond the controller's capacity.

|---|---|---|---|---|
| EDF-96E/F | 88mm | 54mm | 60mm | Top reference 45mm; height sections 6mm, 16mm and 38mm |
| EDF-96G/H | 53.5mm | Top reference 55mm; height sections 6mm, 16mm and 38mm |
| Model group | Supply | Controlled output |
|---|---|---|
| EDF-96E/G | 1: N or −; 3: L or + | Load connects to 2 and 4 |
| EDF-96F/H | 1: N or −; 2: L or + | 3, 4 and 5 provide independent relay contacts |
Use AC line/neutral or DC positive/negative according to the selected supply version. For passive outputs, identify the common and changeover contact states on the supplied unit before connecting the external circuit.
For EDF-96E/F, install the electrode probes using the complete diagram. The illustrated connections 7 and 8 are positioned at the same level. Select probe elevations to establish the required switching differential.
| EDF-96G/H terminal | External-sensor lead | Function in the illustrated arrangement |
|---|---|---|
| 6 | Brown, both sensors | Sensor supply |
| 7 | Black, lower sensor | Lower-level signal |
| 8 | Black, upper sensor | Upper-level signal |
| 9 | Blue, both sensors | Sensor return |
The external sensors mount beside the vessel at the selected levels. Use sensors compatible with the controller and the tank's wall construction, and verify their actual supply rating and switching behavior. The controller's mains supply rating is separate from the sensor interface.

Check the chosen mode, sensor positions and output type before connecting the pump. Test both level limits and the manual controls after installation. Isolate the supply before wiring or servicing the controller.
