EDF-96D controls filling and drainage according to the water level in a tank or reservoir. Its sensing arrangements support water-shortage protection and coordinated upper- and lower-tank operation. The compact housing mounts on a DIN rail inside the control enclosure.
Select a controller supply version to match the installation. The 220V, 12V and 24V versions are separate configurations. The pictured low-voltage unit is marked AC24V; use the voltage and AC/DC type specified on the supplied controller.

Choose the load by its current, power and starting characteristics together. Use a contactor for a pump or other load whose demands exceed the controller's output rating.
| Marking | Function |
|---|---|
| Input | Controller supply terminals |
| Output | Controlled load connection |
| A / B / C / D / E | Level-sensing connections arranged for the selected control function |
The case diagrams identify the sensing arrangements for filling, drainage, dry-run protection and linked tank control. Install the sensors at the required upper, lower and source-water protection levels, following the diagram for the selected function.
The 220VAC example connects the controller Input to the supply and its Output to contactor coil A1/A2. The contactor main inputs 1/L1 and 3/L2 receive the supply directly, and the illustrated two-wire load connects to 2/T1 and 4/T2.
Use the 220VAC controller version and a 220VAC coil for that circuit. A 12V or 24V controller requires its specified supply and an appropriately designed control circuit. Select the contactor and motor protection for the load's starting duty.
Mount the controller securely, check its supply marking and keep sensing conductors separate from power wiring. Verify the start and stop levels and simulate the water-shortage condition before leaving the system in automatic operation. Isolate the supply before wiring or maintenance.
