These stainless steel float switches support DN25 flange installation and 1in threaded installation through a removable flange arrangement. The mounting gasket and welded stem assembly provide a sealed connection, while the connection head gives access to the electrical terminations.
A single float supplies one level signal. A double-float assembly provides upper and lower signals for filling, drainage or level alarms. The float and stem are 304 stainless steel as standard, with 316 stainless steel available for compatible applications requiring that material. The flange is stainless steel.

| Parameter | 1A1 | 2A1 |
|---|---|---|
| Maximum contact rating | 10VA | 50VA |
| Maximum switching voltage | 100VAC/DC | 220VAC/DC |
| Maximum switching current | 0.5A | 1.5A |
| Breakdown-voltage reference | 110VAC/DC | 300VAC/DC |
| Maximum contact resistance | 100mΩ | 100mΩ |
| Operating temperature | −30–120°C | −30–120°C |
| Upgraded sealed enclosure | IP68 | IP68 |
Observe the switching voltage, current and contact-power limits together. Use a receiving relay or PLC input for the float signal and a relay, contactor or motor starter selected for the load. Breakdown voltage is separate from the allowed operating voltage.

For ES10010-FL orders, specify the double-float assembly and required dimensions. Custom stem lengths, float counts, sensing elevations, flange specifications, cables and output arrangements are available. Select the flange standard, bolt pattern, gasket and pressure requirement for the actual tank connection.
The standard below-closed arrangement opens when the float rises away from its reed position and closes when the float falls back. Reversing the float changes the closed-state orientation. Check each contact before connecting the receiving system.
In filling service, the lower level starts the pump and the upper level stops it. In drainage service, the upper level starts the pump and the lower level stops it. A relay auxiliary contact can maintain operation between the two switching points.
| 14-pin relay connection | Function in the 220VAC control example |
|---|---|
| 10–13 jumper | Live supply and coil terminal 13 |
| 11 | Neutral supply and float common return |
| 12–14 jumper | Auxiliary-contact common and coil terminal 14 |
| 14 | Start-signal lead |
| 8 | Permit / stop-signal lead |
| 6 and 7 | Switched load connections |
This example requires a 220VAC-rated float option and a relay with the matching coil and terminal arrangement. Select the relay or contactor for the load rating and verify the actual float-head connections. The English relay-control attachment includes the circuit and the filling and drainage contact states.
Match the stainless steel, sealing materials and cable to the liquid and temperature. Avoid heavy sludge, high-viscosity deposits and large particles that could restrict float movement. Confirm the tank pressure, flange details and installation direction, then provide free travel for each float. Secure the head cover and cable seal, test the complete control sequence and disconnect power before maintenance.
