Two threaded platinum RTD constructions serve local equipment temperature measurement. The miniature head version uses a special terminal enclosure for small, confined positions and marine engine temperature measurement. The direct-lead version uses three-wire connections and crimp terminals for equipment sensing within 0-300°C. Both specify M8×1.25 mounting threads.
| Sensor type | Element choices | Insertion | Fixing | Range | Class | Tolerance | Electrical entry |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Platinum RTD | Pt100 or Pt1000 | 50mm or user-specified | M8×1.25 threaded connection | 0-400°C | A | ±(0.15+0.002t)°C | M20×1.5 or user-specified |
| B | ±(0.30+0.005t)°C |
| Sensor type | Element choices | Fixing | Range | Class | Tolerance | Wiring | Terminal |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Platinum RTD | Pt100, Pt500 or Pt1000 | M8×1.25 threaded connection | 0-300°C | A | ±(0.15+0.002t)°C | Three-wire | Crimped |
| B | ±(0.30+0.005t)°C |
In the tolerance formulas, t is the temperature in °C. Select the construction first: Pt500 and the 0-300°C range are listed for the direct-lead version, while the 50mm standard insertion and head entry apply to the miniature head version.
