These thermocouples attach to the outside of a pipe with an adjustable band. Thermocouple-material leads are welded to the band, which collects heat from the pipe surface. The assembly measures surface temperature without placing a probe inside the pipe.

Other specifications can be supplied for the application. Select the band diameter to fit the pipe and use a temperature instrument matched to the chosen K or E element.
