The 530 series places the measuring end inside a furnace, kiln or vessel while the reference end turns through 90° for convenient connection. Ceramic beads insulate the assembled thermoelements, and an aluminum waterproof head provides the terminal enclosure. Components can be dismantled for maintenance and replacement. The sensing element contacts air internally, so prolonged use can change its calibration characteristics.
