Wire forming springs are metal components bent into a defined shape to provide spring action, clamping, positioning, movement transmission or connection. A single wire form can combine the functions of a spring, clip, link or bracket within an assembly.
Round wire is common, while flat wire and other profiles can also be formed. CNC wire bending enables custom 2D and 3D geometries for irregular or confined installation spaces. The geometry is developed around the required function rather than a standard coil shape.
