| Explanation: |
Series TZ-8 - Vertical limit switch design series |
Actuator 104 - Plastic roller lever |
Cable entry N - M12 cable-gland tail sleeve |
TZ-8N switches detect mechanical position through a choice of roller levers, adjustable rods, plungers and flexible spring actuators. A metal housing and reinforced plastic cover enclose snap-action 1NO+1NC contacts. The N suffix specifies an M12 cable-gland tail sleeve for cable entry; select the actuator and available movement to suit the machine's approach direction.
Terminals 13-14 form the normally open contact and 11-12 form the normally closed contact. NC direct opening is specified for the six lever models marked below. Select a plunger or spring model according to its own force and travel limits.
| Model | Actuator code | Actuator construction | NC direct opening |

| TZ-8108HN | 108H | Adjustable lever with rubber roller | Yes |
Build the model from the fixed identifier TZ-8, the complete actuator code and the N cable-entry suffix. For example, TZ-8104N selects the plastic roller lever and M12 cable gland. The H in 108H belongs to the rubber-roller actuator code.

The table gives steady current. Inductive ratings use an AC power factor of 0.4 or a DC time constant below 7ms. Lamp loads assume inrush up to ten times steady current, and motor loads up to six times steady current.

OF is maximum operating force and RF is minimum release force. PT is maximum pretravel unless stated with a tolerance; OT is minimum overtravel; MD is maximum differential travel unless stated with a tolerance; TT is minimum total travel. OP is the operating position shown in the model drawing. Dashes indicate unspecified values.

Contact the flexible actuator within the outer third of its length, measured from the tip. Keep angular travel values separate from the linear pretravel specified for the metal-rod spring model.
The attached catalog provides separate outlines for each N-suffix model. Standard mounting uses four Ø4.2mm holes with 21±0.2mm horizontal and 56±0.2mm vertical spacing. Threaded holes are M5×0.8 with at least 7.5mm thread depth. Allow space for the M12 gland and cable below the body.
