MCS 8VC and 8RC headers provide single row solder-pin connections for pluggable PCB interfaces. The 8VC models have a vertical mating axis; the 8RC models have a right-angle mating axis. Choose the exact model, pitch and pole count before checking the board footprint and mating connector geometry. Matching pitch alone does not establish compatibility. Wire-side plugs and the separate 8VCB/8RCB structures are not included in this series.

Specify the full model and number of poles. N or P in the dimension formulas denotes the number of poles; XXP in a drawing identifier is the pole-count placeholder. These PCB headers have solder tails rather than a wire clamp, so wire size, stripping length and tightening torque do not apply to the header itself.
