HP6B/H enclosure configurations

HP6B/H enclosures provide top-entry and side-entry hoods for mating with bulkhead bases. The ST-MCV version includes a hinged metal cover. Select the cable thread, base configuration and insert before checking the complete mounting arrangement.

The M20 top-entry and M25 side-entry drawings describe their respective thread configurations. Both dimensioned hood bodies have a 133×58mm flange and 100mm height, excluding projecting screw shanks. Their two locking positions have projected spacings of 113mm longitudinally and 39mm transversely.

Assembly

Choose the panel cutout for the installed insert. Match the cable gland to the actual entry thread and cable diameter, and allow clearance for the hood, wiring and locking screws. On covered bases, keep the full hinge travel clear. Electrical ratings and contact count depend on the insert.
