Operation & Applications

The HLR3700 relay coil connects in series with the motor's main winding. Upon startup, the in-rush current closes the contacts to energize the start winding. As the motor gains speed, the decreasing current allows the contacts to open, disconnecting the start winding. It is widely used in compact equipment where space and reliability are critical.
