HF frames retain connector modules within a zinc die-cast structure. Choose the frame capacity to match the module arrangement and select the NUA3 or NLA3 version for the required locating orientation. The frame includes PE connection points at its ends.
| Frame size | Module capacity | NUA3 model | NLA3 model |
|---|---|---|---|
| 6B | 2 | HF6B-NUA3 | HF6B-NLA3 |
| 10B | 3 | HF10B-NUA3 | HF10B-NLA3 |
| 16B | 4 | HF16B-NUA3 | HF16B-NLA3 |
| 24B | 6 | HF24B-NUA3 | HF24B-NLA3 |
| Property | Specification |
|---|---|
| PE connection, power side | 4-10mm²; AWG12-8 |
| PE connection, signal side | 1-2.5mm²; AWG18-14 |
| Frame material | Zinc die-cast |
| Temperature range | -40°C to +125°C |

The wire ranges above apply to the frame PE connections. Select the signal and power contacts within each module according to that module's own termination specifications.
Release the frame fixing screws, open the hinged structure and seat the module retention features in the matching frame openings. Close and secure the frame before mounting the assembly in its housing. Observe the locating orientation of both mating frames.
Individual drawings are available for the 6B, 10B and 16B NUA3 and NLA3 versions, and for HF24B-NLA3. Use the drawing matching the complete model designation for mounting dimensions and orientation.
