HE Cage-Clamp inserts connect conductors through spring-operated terminals in the MS and FS body styles. Male and female versions are available with 6, 10, 16 or 24 contacts plus protective earth. The contact count determines the B-size enclosure, while the complete model suffix identifies the terminal structure and installation drawing.

Select a complementary MS male and FS female insert with the required contact count. Check the terminal-side clearance as well as the mating face when choosing the hood, housing and cable-entry arrangement.

Prepare the conductor within the stated stripping range and engage it in the spring terminal. The fixing screws secure the insert assembly; they do not define a conductor-tightening torque for the spring connection.
