Description

Relay outputs with grouped common terminals

These six ERS modules use normally open relay contacts, with one output common for each group of four channels. TC models have terminal inputs; LC models have MIL connector inputs. Outputs use terminal connections. The input circuit includes surge absorption and incorrect-connection protection, and the relays use pluggable bases.

Individual coil specifications

PropertyValue and condition
Rated coil voltage24VDC±10%
Rated coil currentApproximately 7.6mA per relay
Initial pickup voltage at 20°CLess than 70% of rated coil voltage
Initial release voltage at 20°CMore than 5% of rated coil voltage
Operate timeLess than 10ms at 20°C and initial rated voltage, excluding contact bounce
Reset timeLess than 5ms at 20°C and initial rated voltage, excluding contact bounce and without a diode

The 7.6mA value is an individual-coil specification, not the total current of a populated module. The six listed configurations are 24VDC versions; other voltage variants are not assigned here.

Contact data and load selection

The contact-capacity and maximum-power entries are inconsistent at the same stated load voltages. They are retained below as listed data; a verified maximum switching envelope has not been established. In particular, 5A at 250VAC exceeds 750VA, and 5A at 30VDC exceeds 90W. Do not combine these entries into a confirmed operating rating or infer an updated relay specification.

Mechanical and electrical life

Test conditionListed life
Mechanical, 180 operations per minuteMore than 20 million operations
Resistive, 3A at 250VACMore than 30,000 operations
Resistive, 3A at 30VDC
Resistive, 2A at 250VACMore than 100,000 operations
Resistive, 2A at 30VDC

Life-test points do not establish the unresolved maximum switching rating. Common-terminal aggregate current is unspecified and must not be inferred by multiplying the per-relay entry by four.

Channel labels above use hexadecimal notation where letters appear. TC inputs use COM and channel terminals; LC inputs include VCC, GND and channel contacts. Input supply/common terminals and output contact commons serve different functions.

The indicated terminal conductor limit is 1.5mm², with AWG16 listed alongside it. These nominal sizes are not exact conversions; check the chosen wire and terminal fit. Match the PLC-specific cable, signal definition and connector orientation. Module height, terminal strip length, ambient limits and fitted relay part number are unspecified.
