Plated ABS hoods for D-sub cable assemblies

DBH434, DBH434A, DBH434B and DBH434C are split ABS cable hoods with plated surfaces and model-specific assembly hardware. Select the housing by the D-sub shell size, cable routing and fastening arrangement. The position labels below identify the standard D-sub shell sizes; they do not specify an included contact insert.

All models use #4-40 UNC connector bolts. Their internal assembly screws differ by model and are listed below. Plating and metal clamp components are specified, but a shielding attenuation value, shield termination procedure and ingress-protection rating are unspecified.

The two bolt types and three clamp types are alternatives. Plastic-2 uses the illustrated M2.5 clamp screw; the metal clamp uses M3 fastening. The long bolt is 44mm overall and the short bolt is 14.3mm overall.
