CTC temperature probes are configured by mechanical shape, sensing element, lead construction, terminal type, dimensions and cable length. The family includes seven thermocouple element designations together with Pt100 and Cu50 resistance-temperature options. Nine shape codes cover threaded probes, waterproof versions, spring-loaded probes, small probes, ring forms and clamp forms.
Select the sensing element to match the receiving instrument, then choose the mechanical dimensions for the installation. Dimension codes depend on the selected shape: a probe length, thread, tube diameter, ring aperture or clamp diameter can form part of the order. The tables below keep these choices separate.
Ordering Fields
The ordering layout is CTC-[shape][element][lead][terminal]/[dimensions]-[cable length]. For example, CTC-1K2U/100M12-L2 identifies shape 1, K element, lead code 2, U terminals, a 100mm probe with M12×1.5 thread, and a 2m cable.

Cable-length codes L1–L5 denote lengths in metres: L1 is 1m and L2 is 2m. Cable length is not limited to L5. Dimension parameters are selected from the tables for the relevant shape. A ★ marks an individually recommended specification.
