Series CSA - Vertical limit switch series |
Actuator 001 - Flat plunger |
CSA vertical limit switches combine cast aluminum and reinforced plastic construction with a double-spring contact mechanism and snap-action 1NO+1NC contacts. The IP66 enclosure has three M18×1.5 cable-entry positions. Choose a plunger, bracket roller, rotary lever or flexible spring head to suit the moving target and the available operating travel.

| CSA-081 | Coil spring | Ø6.5mm spring with Ø1.5mm stainless wire |
The common body is 57.6mm wide and 26.8±0.8mm deep. Mounting drawings show 38±0.2mm upper and 52mm lower horizontal dimensions, a 56.7mm vertical dimension and Ø5mm holes. Flexible heads have a 141mm head dimension. Use the individual drawings for mounting geometry, offsets and the full operating envelope.
CSA-021M consists of the CSA series identifier, a hyphen and the complete actuator code 021M. Retain the leading zeros; M is part of the actuator code for metal roller versions. CSA-002 is an additional vertical roller-plunger ordering option.

Obtain configuration-specific documentation where certification evidence is required.
OF is maximum operating force; RF is minimum release force. PT and MD are maximum pretravel and movement differential. OT and TT are minimum overtravel and total travel. Trigger position TP has a ±10% tolerance. Observe the units for each head: linear tip travel and angular movement are different quantities.

Match the actuator to the target path, leave sufficient overtravel and secure the body using the model-specific mounting drawing. Maintain cable-entry sealing to preserve the enclosure protection. Select the contact load using the applicable resistive, lamp, inductive, motor or utilization-category rating.
These industrial components require separate application assessment for personnel protection, long-term high-reliability systems, harsh outdoor or chemical environments, explosive atmospheres, nuclear, aerospace and military service.
