This pump control panel uses a frequency inverter, controller and pressure feedback to adjust pump speed and the number of running pumps. The closed-loop arrangement is intended to maintain the required water-network pressure and flow.
Control functions
Three main pumps plus one auxiliary pump, with selectable multi-speed control and flexible pump-add or pump-reduction logic.
Scheduled pump rotation, sleep control and up to eight pressure periods with timed switching.
Pressure monitoring and alarms, with grounding, phase-loss and related pump protection.
Pressure-transducer feedback is compared with the configured setpoint to adjust drive frequency and pump sequencing.
Applications and operating conditions
Applications include residential and high-rise water supply, hotels, firefighting water systems, heating and chilled-water circulation, pumping stations, industrial water reuse, boiler supply, wastewater treatment, irrigation and fountains. Captured conditions specify three-phase 380V±10%, -10-50°C ambient temperature, below 1000m altitude and constant outlet-pressure control.
