| Part Number: | CMR | - | 30 | 1 | - | 1 | L | A |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Explanation: |
Type CMR - Round type |
Mounting 30 - 30mm mounting hole |
Contact Seats 1 - One contact seat |
Arrangement 1 - NO reference 10/0/10/0; one standard seat |
Operation R - Maintained action |
Contact Type A - Normally open: 10=1NO, 20=2NO, 30=3NO, 40=4NO |
CMR monolever switches provide configurable joystick control through a 30mm mounting hole. Choose maintained or spring-return action, a round or microswitch contact base, one to four contact seats, and normally open, normally closed or mixed contacts.
The range supports one-, two-, three- or four-direction configurations. Rubber bushings provide water, oil and dust protection; the series carries an IP54 protection marking. Define the required direction pattern and contact array together, including unused directions.
| Field | Code | Selection |
|---|---|---|
| Type | CMR | Round type |
| CMRS | Round type with CMV contact seat | |
| CMRN | Sealed round type | |
| CMRSN | Sealed round type with microswitch contact seat | |
| Mounting hole | 30 | Ø30mm |
| Contact seats | 1–4 | Select the count for the base, arrangement and contact type |
| Operation | R | Maintained action |
| L | Spring return | |
| Contact type | A | Normally open: 10=1NO, 20=2NO, 30=3NO, 40=4NO |
| B | Normally closed: 01=1NC, 02=2NC, 03=3NC, 04=4NC | |
| C | Mixed contacts: opposite directions may use different types; 11 means 1NO+1NC in one direction | |
| Other | Custom alphanumeric contact configuration |
Read contact arrays in the order up / right / down / left. A zero indicates no contact assigned in that entry. For example, 01/01/01/01 gives four NC directions with two standard contact seats; 10/10/01/01 gives two NO and two NC directions. Contact type and seat construction determine the final array.
| Arrangement code | NO reference array | Standard contact seats |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 10/0/10/0 | 1 |
| 2 | 10/10/10/10 | 2 |
| 3 | 20/0/20/0 | |
| 4 | 20/10/20/10 | 3 |
| 5 | 30/0/30/0 | |
| 6 | 20/20/20/20 | 4 |
| 7 | 30/10/30/10 | |
| 8 | 40/0/40/0 | |
| Other | Custom alphanumeric arrangement | As configured |
The NO reference arrangements above apply to standard contact seats. CMRS-304 and CMRSN-304 mixed-contact models use four microswitch seats with arrangement code 4 and array 11/11/11/11. Use the complete model configurations below for these versions.
The complete example CMR-301-1LA selects a round switch, 30mm mounting, one contact seat, arrangement 1, spring-return action and NO contacts.

| Contact block | Contact combination |

| BR2 | 1NO+1NC |
| BR3 | 2NC |

The standard minimum applicable load is 24VDC, 10mA. Smaller signals require a suitable small-load contact configuration. Contacts used on general loads should not subsequently be reused for smaller signals, because surface changes can reduce low-current reliability. Use appropriate CR suppression and contact protection where bounce, noise or pulse currents affect the circuit.

These switches are intended for industrial controls. High-reliability infrastructure, applications involving personal safety, harsh outdoor or contaminated conditions, fire or explosion hazards, military uses and aerospace projects require a specifically designed and expressly confirmed configuration.
