CNTD CLA37 modular operators fit 22mm panel holes and combine a removable head, intermediate holder and quick-action contact elements. Flat and raised pushbuttons, mushroom heads, emergency-stop operators, short and long selectors, key selectors, twin buttons and stainless steel heads support panel control layouts. Match the complete color/contact designation to the required circuit.
Color codes are W=white, B=black, G=green, R=red, Y=yellow and S=blue. In the tables below, ○ may be replaced only with a color listed in the same cell. △ is the selected lamp-voltage code. Red and nonred selections use different contact codes in the listed single-contact combinations:01=1NC and 10=1NO.

Listed nonilluminated selector/key examples are black. The operator color legend also identifies W/G/R/Y/S. Illuminated XD examples retain their L suffix and offer G/R/Y colors; add the chosen lamp-voltage code.
Up to four contact bases can be combined, each accommodating two groups of contact elements. CBS-101 is a 1NO block, CBS-102 is 1NC, CBS-201 is 2NO and CBS-202 is 2NC. Contact codes distinguish combined individual blocks from L-coded multi-contact arrangements.

These extended definitions describe contact construction, rather than confirming every possible complete operator model. Terminal endings 1/2 denote NC and 3/4 denote NO; the preceding digit distinguishes contact pairs.
C=closed contact pair and O=open contact pair. Read pairs left to right in the illustrated viewing direction. The contact matrix is separate from the selector's maintained or spring-return action.

The bidirectional LED specification lists eight AC/DC voltages, red/green/yellow/blue/white colors and at least 40000h service life. Its lamp-holder schematic uses X1/X2 terminals. The extended guide also includes AC-only F/M/Q codes; select a compatible lamp holder. Lamp supply voltage is independent of the switch-contact rating.
Ui=600V; Ith=10A; contact material is silver alloy. Use the load-category rating at the actual operating voltage, rather than applying the thermal-current figure to every circuit.

All dimensions are millimeters. H is the front-height reference and D is the rear-assembly reference shown in the drawings. Most illustrated CLA37 assemblies use a 43×29.5mm contact-base envelope and 22.6mm lower-block reference. The illuminated twin assembly has its own larger rear construction.

Use the latch to separate the head, holder and contact elements. Mount through a 22mm hole and use an appropriate installation wrench. Three-position selectors require alignment with the TOP mark; other illustrated operators do not require directional mounting.
Standard contacts require at least 24VDC/10mA. Contacts previously used for general loads should not be reused for smaller loads. Below the stated minimum, surface films can prevent reliable switching; obtain a suitable low-load version. The attachment includes the low-load graph with its 5mW/800mW boundaries. Provide suitable suppression for switching noise and pulse currents to maintain contact life.
Regional specifications can vary. Personnel-safety functions, exceptionally high-reliability nuclear/gas/power systems, harsh outdoor or contaminated environments, fire/explosion hazards, strong acids or alkalis, and military/aerospace applications require a product specifically designed and confirmed for the purpose.
