CKSG dry iron-core reactors connect in series with shunt capacitors in low-voltage reactive power compensation equipment. Select the reactor by the system voltage, capacitor output and required reactance rate. The two schedules below cover three-phase 400V configurations with 6% or 12% reactance.
The construction uses laminated, cold-rolled grain-oriented silicon steel with distributed air gaps, flat enamelled copper windings and vacuum-impregnated insulation. Single-phase and three-phase constructions are available in the broader family. Winding insulation uses class H or class C materials; exposed surfaces receive corrosion protection and the output connections use tinned copper terminals.
