CNTD CJY-S long range cylindrical inductive proximity sensors detect metal at 2–25mm nominal distances in M8, M12, M18 and M30 housings. Flush and nonflush heads combine nickel-plated brass bodies, red operating LEDs and IP67 protection. The manufacturer describes nominal sensing distances approximately 1.5–2 times those of its existing standard models; choose the actual operating gap from the model-specific setting range below.
The listed models use 10–30VDC transistor circuits. DNA/DNB are NPN NO/NC; DPA/DPB are PNP NO/NC. DNC/DPC provide complementary NO+NC outputs and require four conductors. M8 models list single outputs only.

For single outputs, brown is +V, blue is 0V and black is the switching output. An NPN load connects between +V and black; a PNP load connects between black and 0V. In the optional M12 single-output connector diagram, pin 1 is brown, pin 3 is blue and pin 4 is black. The diagrams do not assign the extra conductor of NO+NC models.
| External device example | Brown / blue supply leads | Black output lead |

| PA10-U input 1 | 9 (+12V) / 10 (GND) | 11 (IN1) |
| PA10-U input 2 | 13 (+12V) / 14 (GND) | 15 (IN2) |
| FX4 counter | 10 (+12V) / 11 (0V) | 8 (CP1) |
The FX4 drawing has a separate 100–240VAC counter supply; the sensor receives 12VDC in that example. For a connector-terminated configuration, the installation note gives 0.39–0.49N·m tightening torque and calls for securing the cable connection with tape where vibration occurs. Circuit, connector-face and NO/NC timing diagrams remain in the attachment.
The guide references CCC to GB/T14048.10 and TÜV/CE to EN60947-5-2, without supplying supporting certification documents. Utilization references are DC-13 at 10–30VDC, 200mA and AC-140 at 24–250VAC, 200mA; the AC reference does not create an AC model in the DC selection above.
Use for ordinary industrial metal-position sensing within the specified target, gap, load and mounting conditions. Regional specifications can differ. The manufacturer excludes personnel-safety functions, exceptionally high-reliability nuclear, gas and power systems, harsh outdoor or contaminated environments, fire or explosion hazards, strong acids or alkalis, and military or aerospace applications unless specifically designed and confirmed for that purpose.
