CNTD CJF-E economy square inductive proximity sensors provide 5–15mm nominal metal detection in ABS housings with IP67 protection, red operating indicators and 1.5m prewired cables. Five housing sizes offer NPN/PNP and DC two-wire choices; the 25E, 30E and 40E groups also have AC two-wire models. Match the full model designation to its circuit and setting-range entry.
DNA/DNB identify NPN NO/NC, DPA/DPB identify PNP NO/NC, DDA/DDB are the listed DC two-wire NO/NC models, and AKA/AKB are AC two-wire NO/NC models.

|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| CJF17E-05 | 5mm | 18×18×1mm | 0–3.5mm | No AC model listed | 500Hz | |

| CJF25E-08 | 8mm | 30×30×1mm | 0–5.6mm | 350Hz | ||
| CJF30E-12 | 12mm | 40×40×1mm | 0–8.4mm | 0–7.5mm | 0–8.4mm | 250Hz |
| CJF40E-15 | 15mm | 60×60×1mm | 0–10.5mm | 0–12.5mm | 0–10.5mm | 100Hz |
Setting ranges depend on the circuit for the 30E and 40E groups; do not substitute the NPN/PNP gap for a DC two-wire selection. AC response frequency is 20Hz. Frequencies are average values using the standard iron target, an interval between successive targets equal to twice the target width, and a sensing gap equal to half the nominal distance.

The DC transistor description also identifies overload and short-circuit protection. Match load current and leakage requirements to the selected control input; two-wire and transistor circuits have different voltage drops.

|---|---|---|---|---|
| 17E / 18E | 3.8mm | 1.5m | 3P for NPN/PNP; 2P for DC or AC two-wire, where a corresponding model is listed | 25 |

The cable specification identifies AWG22, 0.1mm individual strand diameter and 1.25mm conductor insulation outside diameter. The 25/30 figures describe strands within each conductor. Standard cable is dark gray PVC, and the housing is ABS.

All values are millimeters. A and B are the face-to-face and parallel distances shown in the attachment; C, the table's φd row, ℓ and m correspond to the surrounding-metal geometry. The drawing labels the φd reference as d; preserve its illustrated endpoints when checking a rectangular installation. An additional opposing orientation carries a separate 180mm reference; use the diagram matching the actual orientation.

For NPN/PNP single outputs, brown is +V, blue is 0V and black is the switching output. Connect an NPN load between +V and black, or a PNP load between black and 0V. DC and AC two-wire models connect in series with the load, which may be placed in either lead. The listed AC models operate at 90–250VAC. The attachment retains circuit and NO/NC timing diagrams.

Use for ordinary industrial metal-position detection within the specified target, gap, load and mounting conditions. Regional specifications can differ. The manufacturer excludes personnel-safety functions, exceptionally high-reliability nuclear, gas and power systems, harsh outdoor or contaminated environments, fire or explosion hazards, strong acids or alkalis, and military or aerospace applications unless specifically designed and confirmed for that purpose.
