These ABS foot switches provide mechanical foot-operated control for industrial equipment. CFS-01 and CFS-201 use compact self-resetting pedals; the larger CFS-101 housing also supports CFS-102 self-resetting and CFS-105 latching configurations. Select the switching arrangement, cable and pedal layout together. The pedal enclosure rating is IP20; a custom waterproof internal switch does not establish an IP67 rating for the complete pedal.

Use the dimensional drawings in the attachment to check the mounting layout and the dimensions associated with each view.
For standard contacts, use loads of at least 24VDC, 10mA. Below this level, specify a small-load contact configuration. Contacts previously used for general loads should not subsequently be assigned to smaller loads. Apply suitable contact protection for switching surges and an appropriate suppression circuit where contact bounce affects the control circuit.
These pedals are intended for ordinary industrial control. Applications involving nuclear, gas or power systems requiring exceptional reliability, personal-safety functions, harsh outdoor or contaminated environments, fire or explosion hazards, military use or aerospace require a specifically designed and confirmed configuration. Do not infer a safety-control rating from the pedal mechanism.
