| Explanation: |
Product Family CDV6 - Voltage monitoring relay |
Monitoring Function 1 - Knob-selected overvoltage or undervoltage monitoring, with locked or non-locked operation |
Output Contact Rating 10 - 10A version; one changeover |
Rated Operating Voltage Z - 100–240VAC/DC |
CDV6-1/2 relays monitor their own single-phase operating voltage using true RMS measurement. The CDV6-1 selects overvoltage or undervoltage monitoring, with locked and non-locked modes; the CDV6-2 monitors both limits. Both use one changeover output and fit an 18mm-wide DIN rail enclosure.

Contact current and switching voltage ratings describe the output circuit; they do not change the relay's selected supply voltage. Compliance references are CCC: GB/T14048.5 and CE: EN60947-5-1. Applicable documentation is available for the ordered model.
For CDV6-1, select U> or U< and the required latch behavior, then set voltage U, hysteresis H and action delay Tt. Non-locked operation returns after the voltage crosses the hysteresis boundary; locked operation retains the tripped state until the supply is reset. For CDV6-2, set the upper limit U>, lower limit U< and Tt. The diagrams distinguish a sustained excursion from one shorter than Tt.

Connect the monitored supply to A1/A2 and use the single changeover output at 11/12/14. The AC and DC connection symbols below show the applicable supply arrangements. This single-phase family monitors voltage magnitude; its wiring has no three-phase sequence inputs.

Typical uses include voltage monitoring for electrical equipment or compressors and emergency/backup supply switching control. These industrial relays are not intended for nuclear, gas or power systems requiring exceptional long-term reliability; personal or property safety functions; harsh outdoor, contaminated, electromagnetic, vibration or shock environments; fire or explosion hazards; or military and aerospace applications unless specifically designed for that use and confirmed in writing.
