Description

CDT6-LS Corridor and Staircase Lighting Timer

CDT6-LS controls corridor or staircase lighting with ON, AUTO and OFF modes. AUTO provides an adjustable 0.5–20min delay, while ON holds the output closed and OFF holds it open. The 18mm-wide switch mounts on a 35mm DIN rail and supports illuminated pushbuttons.

The common model CDT6-LS216S operates from 100–240VAC and has one normally open output with one end internally connected to L. Terminal 4 supplies the switched line to the load; this output shares the device's line connection.

Series Part Number Guide

CDT6-LS ordering layout with corridor switch function code, contact rating and supply
The common complete code is CDT6-LS216S. Function code 2 identifies the documented corridor switch configuration; its actual output is one line-linked NO contact.

Lighting Modes and Timing

ModeOperation
ONOutput remains closed while the device is supplied.
AUTOPushbutton-controlled timed lighting, with t set from 0.5 to 20min by the knob.
OFFOutput remains open.
CDT6-LS timing chart with AUTO, ON and OFF selection, timed output t, 3s control inputs and extended 1h lighting
The chart shows normal timed lighting, repeated control inputs and a 3s input selecting an extended 1h interval. A further 3s input ends the extended interval in the illustrated sequence. L–4 is the switched output; follow the chart for the required button sequence.
