CDP2-VAW combines overvoltage, undervoltage and overcurrent protection with a three-line electrical display. It shows voltage and current alongside selectable energy, active power, apparent power, power factor or frequency information. Three models support maximum operating currents of 40A, 63A or 80A in a 36mm-wide, 1P+N enclosure.
A 32-bit controller operates a magnetic latching power relay to disconnect the load when a protection threshold is exceeded. Separate trip and recovery delays, an overcurrent-event limit and password-protected calibration settings provide more adjustment than the single-function V and A versions.
| Complete model | Maximum operating current | Current range in general table | Functions |
|---|---|---|---|
| CDP2-VAW/40A | 40A | 0.1–40A | Overvoltage, undervoltage and overcurrent protection; energy measurement and active-power detection |
| CDP2-VAW/63A | 63A | 0.1–63A | |
| CDP2-VAW/80A | 80A | 0.1–80A |
The code CDP2-VAW/63A uses C as its fixed prefix, DP2 for the family, VAW for the protection/metering function and 63A for the current rating. Keep both the hyphen and slash in the complete model.
| Field | Options | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Prefix | C | Fixed brand prefix |
| Family | DP2 | Voltage/current protectors with a two-module-width housing |
| Function | VAW | Voltage and current protection with energy and power display; models on this page |
| VA | Overvoltage, undervoltage and overcurrent protection | |
| V | Overvoltage and undervoltage protection | |
| A | Overcurrent protection | |
| Current rating | 40A / 63A / 80A | Maximum operating current of the complete model |

The top line shows voltage/menu item; the middle line shows current, menu content or the recovery countdown. The third line displays energy or the selected electrical quantity. Separate indicators identify voltage protection, overcurrent and kilowatt-hours. Up/down keys switch the power-information display, the SET key pages through menus, and the power key also serves as a shift key. Hold an arrow key in a menu for rapid value adjustment.
| P1 choice | Display code | Third-line information |
|---|---|---|
| 0, default | PC | Energy count in 1kWh units |
| 1 | HH | Energy portion above 1000kWh |
| 2 | NN | Energy portion below 1000kWh |
| 3 | P | Active power |
| 4 | S | Apparent power |
| 5 | PF | Power factor |
| 6 | Hz | Frequency |
The stated energy-measurement range is 0–9999999.9kWh. Voltage and current accuracy are each 1%; no separate energy-accuracy class is specified.

The settings below apply to the illustrated 63A configuration. Its current adjustment starts at 0.5A, and its trip-delay adjustments span 0.5–30s. Family reference ranges are 0.1A to the model's rated current and 0.1–600s for trip delay. Configure the selected version through its own menu limits and defaults.
| Menu | Parameter | Default | Range / behavior |
|---|---|---|---|
| P1 | Third-line default display | 0 | 0–6; see display-choice table |
| P2 | Overvoltage threshold | 265V | 130–300V; setting above 300V disables overvoltage detection |
| P3 | Undervoltage threshold | 175V | 80–210V; setting below 80V disables undervoltage detection |
| P4 | Overvoltage/undervoltage trip delay | 1s | 0.5–30s |
| P5 | Overvoltage/undervoltage recovery delay | 30s | 1–999s |
| P6 | Overcurrent threshold | 63.0A | 0.5–63.0A on illustrated 63A version |
| P7 | Overcurrent trip delay | 1s | 0.5–30s |
| P8 | Overcurrent recovery delay | 30s | 0–999s |
| P9 | Consecutive overcurrent-event limit | 0 | 0–20; automatic reclosing stops after the configured number is exceeded |
| P10 | Password entry | 122 | 0–9999; correct password allows access to P11–P14 |
| P11 | Voltage correction | 0% | −9.9% to +9.9% |
| P12 | Current correction | 0% | −9.9% to +9.9% |
| P13 | Clear accumulated energy | off | on/off; selecting on clears the accumulated energy value |
| P14 | Change password | 122 | 0–9999 |
Use the stated out-of-range settings to disable voltage detection when required. VAW's recovery-delay controls are P5 for voltage protection and P8 for current protection. The family recovery-voltage specification is adjustable; P1–P14 do not provide separate recovery-voltage threshold items. The fixed ±5V recovery offsets of the V-only version do not define VAW settings.
Only the correct P10 password exposes P11–P14; an incorrect entry returns to the initial display. The default password is 122. Retain the changed password to keep access to calibration, energy clearing and password changes. The setting-flow drawings show navigation examples rather than a second set of defaults.
