CDP2-V Overvoltage and Undervoltage Protectors

Description

CDP2-V disconnects a single-phase load when the supply rises above the overvoltage setting or falls below the undervoltage setting. Its front display shows voltage with 1% stated accuracy. Once voltage returns within the recovery limits, the protector reconnects after the selected delay. Three complete models provide 40A, 63A or 80A maximum operating-current ratings in the same 36mm-wide enclosure.

A 32-bit controller operates a magnetic latching power relay. The working supply range is 80–350V at 45–70Hz, with power consumption no greater than 1W. The V version monitors voltage; its current rating determines the supported load rather than an adjustable overcurrent-protection function.

The ordering example CDP2-V/63A consists of the C prefix, DP2 family, a hyphen, the V function code, a slash and the 63A current rating. Retain both separators when ordering.

With the default 270V and 170V settings, the corresponding recovery thresholds are 265V and 175V. Configure the V version through its two voltage-threshold settings and recovery delay. Family reference ranges are 80–350VAC for voltage protection and 0.1–600s for trip delay; P1–P3 provide the V-specific controls below, without a separate trip-delay menu item.

Front Panel and Three Settings

The display shows voltage during operation and the menu item or value during adjustment. The panel provides an output indicator, separate overvoltage and undervoltage indicators, a SET key, up/down keys and a power button. In the setting menu, holding an up or down key adjusts the value quickly.

Press SET to move from the normal display into the settings and cycle through P1, P2 and P3. Use the up/down keys to change the selected value; hold SET to return to the normal display. The illustrated flow includes the 5s recovery-delay example.
