Description

CDE6 controls cabinet temperature and humidity through four selectable operating modes and one voltage-free normally open relay output. A capacitive humidity sensor and front knobs provide local humidity and temperature threshold adjustment for fans, thermoelectric cooling devices or heating elements within the contact ratings.

Working modes

RH is ambient relative humidity, RHset is the humidity threshold, Tamb is ambient temperature, Tset is the temperature threshold and OUT is the active output state. Select the output condition required by the connected heating, cooling or humidity-control load.

HTRH > RHset OR Tamb > TsetHumidity and temperature
THRH < RHset AND Tamb < TsetHumidity and temperature
HMRH > RHsetHumidity
HIRH < RHsetHumidity

Wiring and dimensions

Power the controller at A1/A2 and place the normally open 13/14 contact in the load control circuit. The example connects a PTC load to its own supply through the relay contact. Select the control mode and the contact loading for the device being switched.

Application conditions

The controller is intended for temperature and humidity control in power distribution cabinets. Industrial products of this type are not intended for exceptionally high-reliability nuclear, gas or power systems; personal or property safety functions; harsh outdoor, contaminated, electromagnetic, vibration or shock environments; fire or explosion hazards; or military and aerospace applications unless specifically designed for that use and confirmed in writing.
