CD contacts serve the corresponding 10A crimp-contact positions in HD, HDD, HM, HK and HQ arrangements. Select a male pin or female socket, the required plating and a barrel suitable for the actual conductor.

The d and D values follow the barrel labels in the CDSM and CDSF drawings. The table applies to both silver-contact genders.
| Property | Specification |
|---|---|
| Current class | 10A |
| Material | Copper alloy |
| Plating | Gold for CDGM/CDGF; hard silver for CDSM/CDSF |
| Contact resistance | ≤3mΩ |
| Silver-contact mating life | ≥500 mating cycles |
| CDSM male outline | 25mm overall length; 3.2mm flange diameter |
| CDSF female outline | 21.5mm overall length; 3.5mm flange diameter |
Use the exact contact family specified for the insert, with tooling and wire preparation suited to that contact. The silver-contact dimensions do not define the gold-plated versions. Set the completed connector's operating current according to the insert, conductor and temperature conditions.
