CCSM male pins and CCSF female sockets provide crimp termination for corresponding 40A contact positions. Choose the conductor barrel and prepare the wire to the stripping length for that size.

The d and D dimensions use the barrel labels shown in the contact drawings. The 10mm² models also appear with the shortened suffix -10. Use the row-specific stripping length for wire preparation.

The reference outlines show the version with a 9.6mm barrel preparation length. The male outline is 29.1mm long with a 4mm mating pin; the female outline is 23.5mm long. Both illustrated flange diameters are 6mm. Use the selected barrel size and its detailed drawing when checking installation clearance.
Match the contact family and crimp tooling to the insert and conductor. The complete connector's operating current depends on the insert arrangement, wire size and temperature conditions.
