AM adapters provide a mechanical carrier within a modular connector assembly. Both versions have an open rectangular body with locating features; their different heights accommodate the F and M mounting arrangements.

Each adapter provides one open mounting space. These carriers contain no electrical contacts; select the installed interface components separately according to their own dimensions and ratings.
